This quote is stating that kindness is one of the things that can give you a great advantage in life. No matter how mean or disgraceful someone is in life you just have to be nice and in return you get much more in return.

   Thanksgiving Week

This thanksgiving week I went to my Tia's house. It was a mission to get there because I had to go downstairs and open her door. Any way other than that I had fun I went skating almost everyday and I spent quality time with my T.V my bed and my pillow. My family isn't the typical family who would gather together for dinner and eat all together in a giant table nope mam. My family on thanksgiving day was everywhere, some people were outside, everyone ate before other family members arrive, the table was to small for everyone to eat so we had to wait our turn but at the end it turned out alright. We sat down through two movies Rango and the Croods, and just laughed because my uncle was making fun of the little characters. For dinner we made spaghetti, rice and beans, quesadillas, turkey and cake. I'm vegetarian so i ate everything but turkey. That week i just want to enjoy time and I did with family and friends.

Reflection:

This quote means that doing whats right is more important than wining or losing. Take for example if your playing football one player will not just hog the ball it simply wouldn't be fair the player must pass the ball to his teammates. Or also when you know your about to win something but than you see one of your competitors get hurt you will not keep going(unless you have a cold heart) but you will give it all up just to help that one person in need, not only cause they need it but also because its the right thing to do.

This quote by Mr. Stone is stating that in order to live life with integrity you're supposed to do whats right and stand up to bad choices. Life sometimes is hard because as you get older you try to fit in with the people who you think are the "Cool Crew" and because of that you try to do things that you think will impress them. To live with integrity is to live well. Doing whats right at the end will give you joy and happiness. Even if in the past you have chosen the wrong or were someone who you didn't want to be there is always time to embark your self to a better opening.

Veterans Day

Veterans day is the day that we salute and honor our great fighters who risked their life fighting in "The Great War" a.k.a World War 1. Many fighters gave their life in the war to end all wars. Veterans day is celebrated on November 11, and is one of the days where we take the time to remember those who fought the fight to end all fights. It is very important to show so much honor to all the soldiers because if it weren't for them life as we know it wouldn't be the same. Its because of them that their hasnt been a World War 2.

Here are some ways you can show support to Veterans on the day of November 11.

• Attend Veterans day events
• hang a flag in your yard
• Take flowers to a Veterans memorial
• Thank Veterans with simple gestures
• Say a silent prayer to those who passed and to those now serving
• Observe a moment of silence with family and friends
• Visit a homeless Veteran and take dinner to them
• Teach people about this day

To Do Good

Reflection:

This quote is stating that doing good is the best thing you can recreate. Doing good can not only be one of the best recreations but it can also give you good memories. Take for example when you do good parent buy you things you want or take you to places as a showing of appreciation for your hard work, but when you do bad they don't really do anything as a consequence for not doing good leaving you no good memories and no fun.
