Dentists are responsible for taking care of problems associated with teeth and surrounding tissue in the mouth. Dentist after a check-up often do give advice to patients to help them maintain their teeth in good shape. Dentist have many other responsibilities like filling in cavities, removing tooth decay, examining x-rays etc.

Education:

Most dentists obtain an undergraduate degree before completing a 4-year dental program. To become a dentist you are required to have a residency and you must be licensed by the state in which you practice.

I wouldn’t like to be one because I find it gross to be looking inside peoples mouth and poking at it.
